The Story Behind PolarTask
Last year, I was juggling three tools just to stay organized — Notion for docs, Asana for tasks, and Gmail for everything else.
Switching tabs, losing context, and missing updates became part of the job.
Most "team" tools only made it worse — endless dashboards, bloated integrations, and $25 per seat just to assign a task.
I wanted something simpler. Something that lived where my team already worked: inside Gmail.
So I built PolarTask — a lightweight way for small teams to manage projects without leaving their inbox. It keeps us aligned, fast, and focused — no extra tabs, no mental clutter.
